Group Here Seeks to Help Danube Refugees Go on to Palestine

The American Friends of a Jewish Palestine, announced today that efforts are being made to enable some 1,300 refugees stranded near the mouth of the Danube to continue their trip to Palestine. The organization, headed by Rabbi Louis I. Newman, Harvey L. Schwamm, Hon. Mitchell May, Mrs. John Gunther and others, also announced that a nationwide campaign is being launched to make it possible for thousands of refugees to reach Palestine during the coming months.
