Figures just published by the Jewish Agency for Palestine show a considerable increase in agricultural production during the past year.
Production of vegetables rose from 14,500 tons in 1938 to 16,000 liters. Egg production soared to 58,000,000 from 48,000,000 in 1938. Agricultural products brought good prices during the year, the Agency reported.
