London Hopes Welles Will Visit Nazi Poland

The London Daily Telegraph and Morning Post, make the following comment on President Roosevelt’s decision to send Undersecretary of State Summer Welles to capitals of belligerent countries: “It may be hoped that apart from his studies in the four main capitals he will see something of what the Germans are doing in Poland and Czechoslovakia.”
