Supreme Court Upholds Rumanian Citizenship Revision

The Supreme Court today rejected an appeal by a Bacau Jew to declare unconstitutional denaturalization of Jews who became citizens before 1919. The court ruled that a sovereign power always has the right to revise the status of “any aliens” living within its confines.
