A seven-hour pogrom was recently staged in Jewish quarters of Warsaw, according to an eye-witness who has just reached London.
He said the attacks were carried out by local Poles instigated by Nazis. Many Jews were wounded and the terror-stricken Jewish population was avoiding being seen on the streets, he added.
