Joshua H. Farbstein, president of the Jerusalem Jewish Community and president of the Mizrachi Bank in Palestine, who arrived here Monday on the steamship Washington, today denounced the Palestine land regulations as “an outrageous injustice against the mandate” in a statement which warned that the White Paper “tends to discourage the remarkable harmony recently established between Arab and Jew.”

British Consul-General Sir Geoffrey Haggard yesterday promised to cable to London a memorandum presented by the American Palestine Jewish Legion urging the Government to cancel the restrictions. The Jewish Labor Committee cabled Major Clement Attlee, British Labor Party leader, a protest against the land ordinance.
