More than 1,000 delegates and guests attended the fourth annual convention today of the United Galician Jews of America, which launched a campaign for funds to aid co-religionists in Europe. Scheduled speakers included President Sol Low, Secretary Solomon Kerstein, Chief Rabbi Simon Federbush of Finland and Grand Master Samuel Goldstein of the Independent Order B’rith Abrahaham.
