The Red Mogen David, Palestine’s counterpart of the Red Cross, announced today expansion of its service because of the war. First aid courses for air raid precautions workers will shortly be arranged.

During the five years of the society’s existence, 700 persons attended its first-aid courses and 500 passed its tests, of whom 250 are now on the active volunteer list. Last May, the society took over first-aid services at Hadassah Hospital.
