A Galilee land redemption campaign was launched here today at a Zionist meeting addressed by Chief Rabbi Alexander Safran and other Rumanian Jewish leaders. Speakers said the only effective reply to the Palestine land act was the purchase of 1,500,000 dunams of unoccupied Galilee land in the district where sales were still permitted under the new regulations.
