Religious and educational leaders joined today in commending the appointment of Prof. Louis Finkelstein as president of the Jewish Theological Seminary. Among those sending congratulations were Rabbi Max Arzt, the Rev. Harry Emerson Fosdick, Rabbi Samuel Goldenson, Rabbi Leo Jung, Rabbi David de Sola Pool and Father Gerald G. Walsh.
