Ladislaus Mazurkiewicz, new Polish Ambassador to Chile, receiving a delegation of leading Jews, declared: “I am fully convinced that the new Poland will be a democracy with equal rights for all citizens and will not repeat the old mistakes of anti-Semitic policy.”
