Coughlin Sees Anti-semitism Spurred by ‘frontist’ Trial

Commenting on the acquittal of nine defendants in the Brooklyn sedition trial, Father Charles E. Coughlin declared yesterday that the result “will be that the Christian Front movement will emerge more vigorous and potent than ever.” He added that “resentment on the part of the victims is liable to increase the wave of anti-Semitism throughout the country.”
