A Berlin dispatch to the New York Times today quoted Dr.Robert Ley, head of the German Labor Front, as declaring that "Europe must free itself of Jews and their minions."
The "Aryan" peoples of Europe, under the guidance of the German people and Hitler, will be victorious in this war, Ley said. Under the advancing banners of the National Socialist revolution, he declared, the Jews have been forced to flee from one place in Europe to another until now, wiht no refuge for them in Spain or Italy and German soldiers almost everywhere else in Western Europe, it can practically be said that "Europe is free; long live freedom."
