Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt declared today in her syndicated colunm that it was possible to show generosity to the refugees who “are in great misery and danger” while safeguarding this country. The Jewish refugees, she said, “love liberty and value it and have had experiences which may be of value to us in recognizing the propaganda methods used by totalitarian dictators.”
