A Bucharest dispatch to the New York Times reported today that Premier Ion Gigurtu had warned in a radio address that the Rumanian Government intended to take definite action against minorities who had proved themselves “disloyal.”

Although Jews were not mentioned in the speech, the Times dispatch said “it needs small perspicacity to realize that here M. Gigurtu referred to Rumania’s 450,000 Jews remaining since amputation of the eastern districts.” Gigurtu said that the “offenses and insults” of these minorities would not be forgotten, the Times dispatch added.
