The La Roche Farm in the unoccupied Lot-et-Garonne region of central France will be the center of activity for the agricultural resettlement work now being undertaken by the French ORT on behalf of war victims and refuges, the American ORT reported today on the basis of information received from Vichy.

Work on the farm, a model agricultural enterprise, was not stopped during the entire period of hostilities. The French ORT intends to make the farm a center for agricultural education and an aid in resettling Jews on the land so that at least a part of the 200,000 Jewish evacuees now in unoccupied France may find a way to earn a living.
