Many sections of the population of the important French city of Lyon are revising their opinion of Germany under Nazi control in the wake of the three-week occupation of the city by Reich forces, P.J. Philip reports in a Lyon dispatch to the New York Times. One of the effects of the French defeat on the population is that where formerly only blind opposition prevailed there is now a tendency even toward admiration for the Nazis, especially for the work of economic construction which has been carried out under Hitlerian rule, Philip said.
