Letters paying tribute to Vladimir Jabotinsky were sent to the New Zionist Organization today by ex-Colonial Secretary Leopold S. Amery, Conservative M.P.; former Prime Minister David Lloyd George and Col. Josiah Wedgwood, Laborite M.P.
Jabotinsky was a “stout-hearted Jewish warrior worthy of the traditions of the race which bred the Maccabees’ spirit; his inspiration will live on to nerve the forces of World Jewry for the fight which is theirs as much as ours,” Lloyd George said.
Amery said Jabotinsky was a “fearless advocate of the causes in which he believed.” Wedgwood asserted “no one can replace him but all will be better for the example of his life.”
