The Nazi authorities at Cracow, Nazi Poland, were reported today to have forbidden the departure from the city of Jewish artisans, skilled workers and professionals.
The measure assertedly was taken to protect the economic interests of the city, from which all other Jews have been ordered out. According to the Nazi organ Krakauer Zeitung, all Jews remained in Cracow without “normal occupation” will be subject to forced labor.
