Shapiro Street has been opened here by Menachem M. Hassishkin, president of the Jewish National Fund, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Prof. Zvi Shapiro, iniator of the J.N.F. and the Hebrew University. Mayor Israel Rokach of Tel Aviv and a representative of the university were among those on the Large audience.
