Thousands of copies of a pamphlet, entitled “The Case Against Joseph E. McWilliams” were mailed today to all registered Republican voters in the 18th District by the Eastern Regional Office of Friends of Democracy, Inc. to combat McWilliams’ campaign for the Republican Congressional nomination. The pamphlet details and documents McWilliams’ record of affiliation with the German-American Bund, the Ku Klux Klan, and other fascist and anti-Semitic groups.
