Public Works Minister Justo Rodas Eguino today expressed the hope that the Government would amend the law prohibiting Jewish immigration to eliminate its racial discrimination aspect. He received A.S. Juris, a representative of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, and Solomon Graitzer, president of the local Circulo Israelita, to discuss various Jewish questions and Zionist work. They also visited Foreign Minister Alberto Ostria Gutierrez, who promised to support demands for Jewish equal rights and Zionist aspirations at the eventual peace conference.
