Warsaw Jewess Jailed for Leaving Ghetto to See Sick Daughter

The Polish Information Ministry reported today the case of a 73-year-old Jewish woman in Warsaw who left the ghetto without a permit to see her daughter, seriously ill, who lived in a different section of the city. The woman was caught on the way, arrested and was subsequently sentenced to eight months’ imprisonment.
