40 Rescued from Bombed Jewish House in London

By this morning, 40 persons had been extricated alive and 8 dead bodies found in the ruins of a Jewish workers’ apartment house which suffered a direct bomb hit on Sunday night. The search, which had been going on all nigh, lit up by flashes of guns and distant bombs, was continuing today.
