A Bicentennial Celebration Committee for Philadelphia’s Congregation Mikveh Israel has been appointed with Dr. A.S.W. Rosenbach as general chairman and Dr. Louis Gershenfeld as chairman of the planning committee, it was announced today by J. Solis-Cohen Jr., congregation president. The anniversary will be marked with a program of special events from Nov. 27 to Dec. 1.
