Rabbi Areh Lev, of Brooklyn, executive director of Young Judaea and a First Lieutenant in the Reserve Officers Corps, has been called to active duty in the office of the Chief of Chaplains in the War Department. By direction of President Roosevelt in conjunction with the defense program, Rabbi Lev leaves tomorrow from his home to undertake his new official duties, according to an official announcement by Gen.
