Chief Rabbi Isaac Herzog planned to leave by airplane today for a visit to the United States. Before his departure, Rabbi Herzog issued a statement to the Palestine Jewish community expressing hope that God would “guard and protect this hallowed land and vouchsafe blessings to Britain, heroically struggling against the common enemy of true civilization and Israel.”
