Typhus Reported in Jewish Quarters of 2 Rumanian Towns

Spotted typhus has broken out in the Jewish quarters of Barlad and Falticeni, Rumania, the official German News Agency reported today. Both Moldavian towns suffered severely in the recent earthquake.

Many Jews were reported killed at Falticeni during the Iron Guard anti-Semitic out breaks last month.
