Julius H. Ambert, Michigan attorney and aide to then Major Felix Frankfurter in World War I, was today sworn in as Special Assistant to Secretary of War Stimson. He will be in charge of special legal problems incidental to War Department participation in the defense program. Member of a pioneer Grand Rapids family and grandson of a Congressman, Amberg has a long record of public service in his native state.
