An $18,000 gift of Navitol (natural vitamin concentrate of fish liver oil) for the use of the children of Britain, made possible by a gift on behalf of American Jewish children, was presented to the New York Chapter of the American Red Cross today in ceremonies at Red Cross headquarters.

Gen. Robert C. Davis, executive director of the New York Chapter, accepted the gift from Dr. Stephen S. Wise, who made the presentation, at the behest of the collectors of the fund, through the Jewish Section of the Interfaith Committee to Aid the Democracies.

Token presentation in behalf of American Jewish children was made by Amos Cohen, 14-year-old school boy, who handed the gift to Brenda Lorden, a British evacuee child. Funds for the purchase of the Navitol were made available by the Esco Fund Committee and Keren Ami (Fund of My People) with the understanding that the Navitol be distributed to British children regardless of race or creed. A campaign to raise additional funds for vitamin shipments for British children is under way among children in Jewish religious schools and community centers throughout the United States, conducted under the auspices of Keren Ami.
