Dr. Chaim Weizmann, who arrived here by Glipper last Saturday, will make his first public declaration on the effects of the war upon Jewish life in Europe and on the future of the Jewish National Home in Palestine at a reception tomorrow night at the Hotel Astor under the auspices of the United Palestine Appeal. Dr. Stephen S. Wise, Chairman of the UPA Administrative Committee, will preside.
A luncheon for Mrs. Vera Weizmann was held today by the Pioneer Women’s Organization for Palestine at the Hotel Capitol. Mrs. Weizmann addressed a luncheon of the Brooklyn Hadassah yesterday at the Waldorf-Astoria.
