F. M. Wile, Newspaperman, Dies in Washington

Frederick William Wile, well-known newspaperman and member of a prominent Jewish family, died today at the age of 68. He had been for many years a columnist for the Washington Evening Star. He served as correspondent in London and Berlin and during the first World War as an intelligence officer with the American Expeditionary Force. He will be buried in Laporte, Ind., his birthplace.
