Dr. Chain Weizmann tonight urged intensified aid of the Palestine Jewish community, declaring “they must be given the chance to carry to fruition the dream of a Jewish homeland” and “to withstand the Nazi monster at their very gates.” He addressed a United Jewish Appeal dinner at the Hotel Plaza in honor of Louis Altschul, Bronx UJA leader.
