A delegation of American Jewish leaders will sail on June 20 for Montevideo, Uruguay, to participate in the Inter-American Jewish Conference, which has been summoned by the American Jewish Congress in cooperation with the World Jewish Congress. The delegation will include Dr. Stephen S. Wise, Louis Lipsky, Dr. Nahum Goldmann and Dr. Samuel Margoshes.

Twenty communities of North, Central and South America are expected to participate in the deliberations, which will be held from July 9 to 11. The conference will seek to (1) bring about closer contact and fuller cooperation between the Jewish communities of the Western Hemisphere; (2) consider and coordinate methods of bringing material and moral help to Jews in Europe, and (3) unite all American Jewish communities in their effort to facilitate the establishment of the Jewish National Home in Palestine.
