Because of “double Summer time” in Britain, the Beth Din (rabbinical tribunal) has ordered that the evening prayer (Maariv) on the Sabbath be advanced and combined with the afternoon prayer (Mincha), both to be recited a half hour before sunset. However, work may not be resumed until the actual termination of the Sabbath.
