$60,000 Given for British Relief at Wise Dinner

The sum of $60,000, representing contributions from Jews in various sections of the country, was presented to the British War Relief Society last night by the Jewish Section of the Interfaith Committee for Aid to the Democracies, at a dinner at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, tendered in honor of Dr. Stephen S. Wise, president of the American Jewish Congress. The contribution brings the total money contributed to the British War Relief Society through the Jewish Section to more then $250,000.
