Thousands of Jews are being tortured by Rumanian police and Gestapo agents in Rumanian internment camps as part of a wave of terrorism in reprisal for alleged large-scale espionage, sabotage and protection of Soviet parachutists, the Daily Telegraph reported from Istanbul today.

Jews, Greeks and others not considered “racially pure Rumanians” have been driven from Jassy, Botosani, Galatz, Braila, Giurgio and Sulina, most of them have been interned in concentration camps, the report said.
