Further anti-Jewish regulations in Slovakia are reported in the Grenzbote, Slovak newspaper, reaching here today. Jews are now forbidden to enter the public baths, visit public markets or buy from market vendors elsewhere in town before ten o’clock in the morning. Jews are also forbidden to appear on the streets or in public places after nine o’clock except in urgent cases, such as reporting something in the public interest.
All social intercourse between Jews and Aryans is forbidden. They are not allowed to visit each others’ houses nor are they permitted to carry on any conversations in streets or public places. Penalty for disobedience of these laws ranges up to 5,000 marks fine, and jail sentences from 12 hours to a fortnight.
