The stipulation that Jews must be freely admitted for settlement in Iraq, Syria and Transjordan when these countries are united, together with Palestine, into a pan-Arab federation is one of the major demands advanced by the British Government in supporting the pan-Arab federation project, it is reported today in the Paris press.

The report comes from Ankara. It says that while private discussions on the subject are now being held in Cairo, a conference of Arab leaders of the countries involved will soon take place either in Cairo or in Damascus, at which the project will be discussed in great detail.
