Jews and non-Jews are not allowed to mingle in the Bulgarian labor service battalions, according to rapport from Sofia, reaching here today. Special Jewish labor service battalions have been established for all Jews who are subject to the civilian mobilization.

These “ghetto battalions” which are under the Minister of Public Works, are kept strictly apart from the purely Bulgarian squads which are under the Minister of War. Jews are barred from the latter unite.
