Forty-five Jewish refugees who recently arrived in Argentina on a Spanish ship, and who are presently housed in the Hotel de los Immigrantes, the Argentinean Ellis Island, are to be deported back to Spain because the Argentine Government refuses to admit them, it was disclosed today.

The expulsion orders part of a protracted conflict on immigration policy between Acting President Ramon Castillo and pro-democratic Minister of Agriculture Daniel Anaday y Videla. The conflict was brought to a head today when Videla rejected a project to rigidly limit immigration proposed by a three-man pro-Fascist immigration council appointed by Castillo.
