British Jewry to Raise Forty Percent of “million-dollar Ussihskin Campaign”

British Jewry will contribute $400,000 towards the “million-dollar Ussishkin campaign” which the Jewish National Fund has decided to launch in order to redeam land in Palestine in honor of M. M. Ussishkin, the laste JNF president.

An appeal issued by the Jewish National Fund office here today asks the Jews of England to raise additional £100,000, approximately $400,000, in the Palestine Victory campaign with a view that this sum be spent to commemorate Ussishkin’s hame by acquiring land in Palestine to be named after him.
