Dr. Ludwig Grossfeld, a Jewish lawyer and a member of the executive of the Polish Socialist party in Britain, has been appointed acting Minister of Social Welfare in the Polish Cabinet, it was announced today by Premier Sikorski.
Dr. Grossfeld who was given the official title of “Chef du Cabinet,” will serve in place of Minister Jan Stanczyk, who is in the United States at present. The Jewish lawyer has long been one of the Under-Secretaries in the Social Welfare Ministry.
