The twentieth anniversary of the founding of the Herzlish Hebrew Academy which is, as a teachers seminary, recognized by several Teachers Colleges, will be celebrated next week in New York where the institution was established twenty years ago on Nov. 1st, it was announced today.
The announcement states that the Herzliah is soon to launch a campaign for $100,000 under the leadership of Dr. Nathan Ratnoff, “in order to build an appropriate home for its 400 students.” 153 of whom are now engaged in teaching Hebrew culture in American High Schools, Yeshivahs, and Talmud Torahs. Ten of its graduates are in Palestine as teachers in educational institutions there.
