German Radio Tells Palestine Arabs That Mufti is Well Protected in Berlin

Arabs in Palestine were told today in a broadcast over the German radio station in Zeesen that the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem who has taken up permanent residence in Berlin “is protected by the friendship and strength of the German people.”

Broadcasting in Arabic, the announcer said that the “ex-Mufti is closely cooperating with the forces of Hitler and Mussolini to defeat the British Empire which is already on the verge of a breakdown.” He emphasized that the presence of the ex-Mufti in Berlin “is one of the main factors which will lead to the liberation of the Arab people from British domination.”
