Anxious to check the spread of typhus in the Jewish ghettos of Warsaw and Cracow, the Federation of Polish Jews in Argentina has reached an arrangement with the Argentinian Red Cross to send 4,000 anti-typhus injections to the Jewish communities there, it was announced here today.
The shipment will be delivered to Cracow under the auspices of the International Red Cross. Part of it will then be delivered to Warsaw, where, according to the specific request of the Federation, it will have to be handed over to the Jewish hospital there for the treatment of Jews who, it is understood, receive no medical aid from the Nazi administration.
