Not a single Jew is now left in Belgrade, Nazi occupied capital of Yugoslavia where 9,000 Jews resided before the Nazi occupation, a report received today by Yugoslav circles here states.
The report informs that all Jews were expelled from Belgrade by order of the Nazi authorities. Many of the Jewish men have been shot as “communists” while the fate and whereabouts of the others is unknown. The Jewish women and children have been deported to neighboring villages where they are compelled to do forced labor twelve hours daily.
