All Slovak Jews and Jewish-owned enterprises in Slovakia have been ordered to surrender all furs and fur-trimmed clothing to the Hlinka Guards and the S.S. men, who are now in charge of executing all the anti-Jewish laws, it was announced today by the Bratislava radio.

No explanation was given as to why the furs were required but it is thought here that the order to surrender them may be tied up with the recent drive in Germany and the occupied countries to obtain warm clothing for the German armies in the Soviet Union.
