Dr. Nelson Glueck, professor of Bible and Biblical Archaeology at the Hebrew Union College, has been invited by the Union of American Hebrew Congregations to assume the post of executive director of the Union, it was revealed here today by the American Israelite. He would succeed the late Dr. Edward Israel who died from a heart attack last October.
