The purchase of $76,425 in defense bonds was announced yesterday by the Women’s League for Palestine at its tenth donor luncheon here. The luncheon marked the half-way point in the League’s drive to buy $150,000 worth of defense bonds. A donation of $1,000 was presented to the Red Cross at the same time.
